Vidyalankar - A Sanskrit word which reveres 'Vidya' (Knowledge) as a precious 'Alankar' (Ornament), the essence being that knowledge is the true ornament of a progressive mind. A trusted and prestigious education specialist, the Vidyalankar Group of Educational Institutes continues to spread the radiance and the bright sparkle of knowledge and education far and wide.
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is an Engineering Degree and Management College, approved by AICTE and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Incepted in 1999 and awarded an ‘A’ Grade by the Govt. of Maharashtra, the institute generates quality engineers and managers with sound academic records and offers excellent placement opportunities. All Departments of VIT are accredited by National Board of Accreditation. Institute also has Ph.D. center in the computer engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
Inspired by the philosophy of “Student Delight”, every year VIT welcomes and nurtures around 750 engineering talents at the undergraduate level in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer and Biomedical domains, around 120 Management students and makes them industryready. Many of the graduate engineers hone their skills, expand their knowledge base and orient themselves to R&D while achieving post-graduate qualifications.
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology aims to bring together academicians, industry and researchers to exchange knowledge and ideas. With this vision, International Conference on Recent Advances and Challenges in Engineering and Management (ICRACEM-2025) is being proposed, to be held on 12th and 13th December 2025.
